MEET KAYLYN

DSC_5288
I’m a girl with many hats!  During the day, I am mommy to Julian (4) who has completely changed my whole world (for the better!) We have so much fun hanging out together, whether it’s going on adventure hikes with Patches the bear, swimming in the lake, or just quiet time at home reading books together.
Growing up in Manitoba, I was really involved in competitive swimming which I pursued for 12 years. Swimming took me around the world to places like Austria, Hungary, as well as many places around Canada and the USA.  Seeing the world was so eye-opening for me and I am so thankful for the opportunities I had.
I also enjoy channeling my inner country girl! Jason Aldean anyone? My perfect escape would be lounging around a campfire in nature with a few good friends and family.  I love the beauty of every season and I am so lucky to be able to live in the Okanagan where the seasons are so defined and I can capture the lakes, woods, and incredible sunsets in the moment.
That being said, I would never say no to being pampered at the spa, sipping on tea (or wine!), or breaking the rules by having dessert before dinner!
Photography has always been a part of my life. I grew up with my Grandpa’s camera in my face so I know how to feels to be on the other end of the lens too!  During a grade 12 photography class I realized my passion for photography and knew I wanted to make it a huge part of my life.  I graduated from Centre of Arts and Technology in the Summer of 2010 and have been in the Okanagan growing my business while raising my son ever since. He is such a good sport for me – my little model!
Whether you are looking to capture wedding memories, maternity, birth, and newborn, or family shots, it would be an honour to work with you and your loved ones to capture those priceless moments.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have about my work!
Capturing your heart through the lens,
<3 Kaylyn
